help for elders in St. Louis?
I have to care for my mother(79) here in St. Louis. Who can I call for help. She has emphysema and is O2 dependent, I am not wealthy and need to help her full time. Is there anyone/ agency I can contact for help. Your thoughts and advice are appreciated.

I'm not sure of the care she is needing but there are plenty of hospice agencies in the area. You can start by calling them or you can (depending on the severity of her health) call a Home Health Agency. If she lives in the city, call the st.Louis Area Agency on Aging at 612-5918. They can help you to find the resources that you need.
