i am concidering the army national guard. right now my choices are narrowed down to infantry, mp, or electrician. i have no issue with deployment or being called into duty, but i am married and have 2kids. at this point i would just like to know if these jobs are considerably more dangerous than others and also it they will prepare me for my civialian jobs. since i am looking for either a police or skilled trade job any answers would be of great assistance.

Ok well I can answer this one for you. My husband is currently deployed and he has been in the army for 3 yrs now. Infantry is very dangerous my husband does that one. Mp can be dangerous also when deployed and no one will like you on base. LOL Electrician sounds the best of your choices. Good Luck!!
