Can I wear black jacket suit with thin stripes and solid black trousers for a job interview ?

I am going to a job interview (accounts assistant), I have an expensive jacket suit which is black with thin stripes but can't find the trousers I bought with them, I wonder if I can buy just a normal pair of black trousers.. what do you think?

Absolutely YES - I mean for an interview of the position you are describing - you do not want to "out-dress" the interviewers. I think it's always best to use the matching trousers, but since you can't find them, make sure you take the black jacket with you when you buy the trousers, since there can be variations of black and you will also be able to try them on together before buying the trousers and finding out they don't really match... More
