Is Carlito picking up his ball and going home?

I've been hearing a lot of rumors here and other places saying Carlito is either being released or is quitting WWE. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that? (It doesn't look like he's going to get any serious push from WWE anytime soon, especially after jobbing to DH Smith not too long ago)

I hope Carlito leaves. There is no way to fit him into a Raw storyline. Now, if these dumbass writers had of kept him on SD it would have been better. He could find a couple of feuds. Carlito is pretty good and just got out of a feud with HHH...He just needs a good feud, but he shouldn't leave WWE, that would be career kill

I've read on 411mania that he's wanting out of his contract, but other than that, I don't think any further actions have taken place between him and WWE. I don't blame'em, his career's doomed to one bad gimmick.

Just let the man feud with Jeff Hardy for the IC match, the man's a good wrestler, and has good heat, yet the bookers dont make him perform, like last week to snitsky, ge could have had a good match with Kaos yet they refuse to let him get a push. My guess he would go with his dad or maybe mexico or japan

The thing is, he's a real good talent, when he is trying he is great in the ring, and when u see people with less ability getting pushes it must irritate him. with his father owning a decent federation abroad and TNA always looking i think it would be better for him to leave. there seems to be a big problem with...
