graduating from uni and getting a job - what do you think?

what do you think of graduating from university in accounting and finance and immediately getting a Senior accounts assistant job?

You can do better than that can't you? What about a training contract with KPMG or Deloitte or one of the other big firms? Or maybe a mid-tier firm like Grant Thornton or Baker Tilly? Aim high!

I htink its really good but sometimes you find that that is not immediate. Coz some people take long to find their dream job and as a result they do their own thing.

Thats a very good route to take but remember to also get some work experience in accounts whilst you are studying the course. Employers are not only interested in your academic results but also your work experience because it shows you are able to work in the "real world"

very well done - good for you! Take it, if that's what you want to do, get some experience and if you dont enjoy it, you can always look for something else. It's pretty tough out there in the graduate job market so take what you can get
