Why many Great Men fall, and very weak men become successful?

My ex-boss is such a stupid, a sex-addict, and always under the influence of alcohol. But he makes millions everyday. I know many like that - who are in sports, politics, and religious spheres too. But our mentor, a very disciplined man, a deep thinker, and an excellent human being suddenly lost his business, then his job, and became almost a beggar. He is the one who helped us achieve in our career.

because the qualities of great men mean they fight cleanly and need no strings pulled from family background or blackmailing or deceit to make them great, the greatness of men is all to often their downfall

Because life isn't "fair". There is not some mystical reward for good behavior or punishment for "immoral" behavior. The universe doesn't care. If you are waiting for this guy to fail simply b/c he is a jerk, you will be waiting a long time.

As it is written in Matthew 19:23 "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again, I tell you, it... More
