Primerica??

	Primerica?? I need advice. I posted my resume on yahoo and monster.com, and Primerica called me saying they like my resume. Has anyone worked for this company? What is it loike? Do I have to sell?? First of all, Primerica agents are prohibited from using resume databases to contact people without approval from the compliance department because of regulatory laws such as the Do Not Call list. Anyway, here are some facts about Primerica: 1) They are a member of Citigroup 2) They have over 100,000 licensed representatives in the company. 3) They been in business since 1977 4) Their philosophy is "Buy Term and Invest the Difference." What that mean is people should keep life insurance separate and investments separate. 5) Their mission is to help families eliminate debt and become financially independent. I don't know what this means to you, but to me, I have lots of passion in helping families get on the road to debt freedom and eventually, don't have to worry about not having enough savings for retirement. 6) This is a business opportunity, not a job opportunity. Imagine yourself a business owner. You don't get paid a salary. You get paid off your own efforts and you override everyone in your business. The great thing about Primerica is that you don't need lots of money to start your business. There's no rent to pay, no salary to pay, no equipment to buy, and no business model to create because its all provided to you by the company. I've been working at this company for a few years and at the beginning I was scared and clueless about what I needed to do. I had no financial experience and wasn't sure if I could do this. But I was open-minded and gave it a try. If you have no experience in finance, that's ok because there's people in place who will train you. They are not going to let you do things on your own without any help. Eventually, I gained experience and did things on my own. The people in Primerica are very passionate in what they do and are probably the most positive people you will ever meet. I thought it was bit weird and unusual at first, but I learned to understand why they are positive and why I needed to stay positive. If I was negative and complain too much, no one wants to be around me. If you have teammates and they see you as a negative person, they don't want to work with you. Do you have to sell anything? The answer is no. All you do is educating people about financial concepts and if it makes sense to them, they will either do business with you or not do business. I never had to persuade people to buy from me. I take a look at their current situation and show them how they can improve it. You probably don't understand what I'm talking about, but if you join the company and you go see some families with a field trainer, you will understand that Primerica does the right thing for clients. It's nothing more than a sales job. With those kinds of gigs, it's easy in, but hard to stay in. You'll learn within the first week that you probably won't be making any money. These jobs offer little or no salary. You'll only get paid when you get clients. Answered By: AJ - 11/27/2007

If you are good in sales well youll do well. anyways- its a sales position. every company has it. Heres a better picture. its just walmart with commision based workers. they are really cutting the price of insurance cause like little or no over head. They dont very little compared to like Metlifers. Primerica is 1 sell and your out finding the next. Metlifers you sell 1 contract and you get several years of residualss. I've worked for Primerica and yes it is sales, all jobs are. You sell a product, an idea, a service or just yourself, but you have to exchange something in return for money. Some people make a lot of money at Primerica, most don't. The ideas are good "buy term life insurance and invest the differance" but people today are afraid to trust life insurance salesman so Primerica calls you a service rep. 	How do I get a job with Dodgy work history and no experience? Basically- no degree, although I have tried completing one in the past and stopped because of physical and mental health issues which were overwhelming to deal with along with going to classes full time. I'm not stupid and I am quite articulate. I am 23 and have only worked for about two years retail in high school and stopped working to go to university. I worked a few months in 2010 retail after I dropped out but it was only a seasonal position, and the only reason why I have not been able to constantly work is because of mental health issues. I had also tried going back to community college during my free time since i left university in 2008/9 and I had panic attacks while in community college, which made my anxiety worse from then on. Well recently I met a good doctor and he prescribed me some meds that are stabilizing my moods and I feel the best I've felt in years, and I'm ready to work. Thing is, I don't know how to get a job now since I've spent literally years being depressed and anxious doing nothing. I don't really have anything to put on my resume, and I never finished my AA degree either. All I've done is cashiering and although I do the job well and I get promoted easily when I do these jobs because I'm a hard worker and I try to go above and beyond what they ask of me,which is the attitude I have no matter what kind of work I'm doing as long as I'm getting paid. But I hate cashiering because it's too easy and I want a job that is more interesting. Any suggestions for me on how to get a job that is NOT Retail with the type of background I have right now? 	Why honesty, hard work and dedication have no place at work? Recently I have overlooked for a project at work and I am unable to accept it why? 	What to wear to a job interview VS a career fair? So I have a nice white button up shirt, business skirt and pants, and a suit jacket. I'm applying for a software development job and I'm very short and can look young so I'm trying to look adult, yet professional. I'm also attractive so I'm trying not to look too sexy.
