Employment process.?

1 1/2 weeks ago, I had an interview with Sentry Insurance as a Claims Technician. About 4 days ago, I was contacted by the HR Deparment in regards of taking a drug test; said I was in the next process of employment. Sentry Insurance paid for the drug test. Also, they said a background check would be performed on me. I know that my background is clean, and I don't use any drugs so that's clear. Does this mean I have the job if they say I'm in the next process of employment since they gave me a drug test and background check? When I asked the HR Department about the job, they said they would review the tests and my application once they receive them. Am I jumping to conclusions by thinking I have the job or are they just not interested in hiring me?

It means that they are taking you more into consideration. Don't jump to conclusions just yet, they can still change their minds. Just be positive about it.
