What is the highest paid doctor classified profession?

My parents want me to become a doctor, and I want to become rich. I know there can be a way to fulfill both of our goals. So please tell me what the highest paid doctor job (for example: cardiologist, neurosurgeon, gynecologist, etc.) is and what do they make, on average.

You must choose a specialization YOU are most interested in rather than one that makes the most money. We've all been to doctors who don't fundamentally enjoy what they do... They're never very successful. Do what you love and be good at it and the money will follow.
