which are cheap places to live in usa and not cold throught the year?

can somebody suggest me some cheap and affortable places in usa and also i am very particular about weather it should not be cold , i am a senior j2ee developer(contracting) so would like to move to a place which meets the above requirements and also have a big/enough financial job so that i dont have to reallocate frequently,place where i can get big contracts ,good weather,and affortable please help,thank u

Texas, Arizona and New Mexico come to mind. As does Mississippi. It is a large misconception that North Carolina (especially the Charlotte area) has a low cost of living. That is false!
