How do I convince employers that my son who is blind can work and do a great job?
We live in Cincinnati Ohio and no one will give our son a chance to work for them. He is smart and sharp. Is there anyone who will give him a break and see what I mean. Thanks, a desperate Mom.

I think he is going to have to do that for himself. Unfortunately, it would not look good for a grown man seeking a job to have his mother intervene. Perhaps there are social services for the blind in the area tthat have resources such as job placement and career skills workshops that can help him secure a position.

If they say because he's blind, I suggest you get a lawyer. Good luck with the job search, I know he can find a great job... More
