Can you recommend some careers that involve rigorous analysis work and strategic thinking?

Hi, I enjoy analysing and investigating things, and taking many things into consideration and making accurate decisions and exact observations...can you recommend some suitable careers. i am also a bit of an introvert, so please take that into consideration as well. I endure long periods of time by myself, but sometimes i feel the need to be around people. i also have a very good memory and am capable of remembering minute details. I think the best description of myself is: I am a person that sees things as they are and i see what it could be.

Statistics (perhaps with an insurance company calculating rates), economic analysis, database operations. I think the government mind find uses in economic analysis, census bureau, etc. Most of these jobs require advanced degrees.
