What type of sales experience does staffing agencies look for when looking to hire Recruiters?
I have a background in sales but was wondering if there was something they specifcally look for or if a certain type of sales would stand out over another. This is for those all the experienced recrutiers and for those of you may have an idea. Thanks in Advance

I think they look more for customer service experience and people skills than sales skills. Recruiters are more interested in placing people in the right jobs then doing a sales job on people.

Not much. They just place anyone who shows up there at the start of the shift.

I don't think it's all about the sales experience, per se. The recruiters I've worked with have just been outgoing, friendly people who are good at customer service. I bet if you had previous experience as any kind of recruiter (for schools, armed services, or jobs, whatever), that would be best.
