Are people without a degree getting a bad rap when applying for a job?
I have 28 years of experience and now i'm unemployed. I was an operations manager and now I find myself looking for a job. I have no college degree and I am finding it difficult to get a foot in the door.

Experience should always top a degree. You're more likely to get hired first, at least that's what I think. I'd hire someone with 28 years experience over someone with a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in the same field.
