Job interview! What is appropriate and inappropriate to wear?

Ok i am asking this in a guys sense of style, my best guy friend needs help. Heres the 411. He has an intervew at a restaurant called california pizza kitchen, as a host job. He's 20 doesnt have that many clothes, is a polo shirt like lacoste appropriate with dress pants? Or does he need to be a little more dressier? Such as a long sleve collared shirt? Are jeans appropriate?

A job interview really requires a suit and tie - if no suit is available at least a dress shirt and tie - doesn't matter if you are interviewing for the lowest rung on the ladder- always dress up for an interview.

I would say to wear a long sleeve collared shirt with dress pants, most probably tucked in! Good Luck!
