How I do land a job when most postings ask for experience?

I have a four-year bachelor's degree and over five years customer service, retail and office employment, but I find most job postings want someone with experience? How does one gain experience a job, for example admin. assist. associate?

look for contracting agencys, Manpower Professoinal or CDI Corp. They can generally get you into places that higher temps at a decent salary. With that job you can get experience, contacts and most importanly you can promote yourself with your level of work. it might take some time for you to get the job you want... More

You should translate your experience into something that equates to the responsibilities of the job you are seeking. well, if you apply and get an interview then you can learn what they are looking for if not hired... Sometimes people add this to entice those who are serious about getting a job. To some jobs experience is always a plus but not nessacary... you need to focus on their goals and company's niche... Good luck..
