Are there any decent home study electrician courses that actually give you recognised qualifications?

I want to become an Electrician but can't afford to leave my current job. Are there any home study courses which give you recognised electrical qualifications that will actually allow me to become an Electrician at the end of them?

to be truly recognized as an electrician i believe you need to do a 5 year apprenticeship after your studies

no only hands on will get you any proper qualifications and dont believe learndirect they will say anything to get your money

Do it at evening classes then. Taking the legal responsibility for someone's safety isn't something that you can learn solely from a desk. C&G 2330 would be the one I recommend.
