I need a job ASAP...like 4 years ago I got arrested for shoplifting and well I need a job..?

Ive filled out applications for Sears and Ace Cash Express and they called me for a interview but I didnt get hired because of my record. What jobs do not do a background check I have stayed out of trouble now but I cant get a job because of that What can I do? Are there any jobs that can hire me like that? I really need a job! Oh and please dont send me those work at home things they ask you to pay and well...thats why I need a job to get money. =)

Restaurants are going to be your best bet. Not the corporate ones like Red Robin or the Outback, but some local ones. They don't usually do any sort of background check besides calling past employers if that. Good luck.

do you HAVE to put that on your application? I thought you only had to put down felonies. I dont think that was really a felony was it?

ANy small company will probably hire you, they normally don't do extensive background checks. Try local small business or smaller restaurants.

You should look into getting your Trucking license. Truckers are in demand. Trucking companies are willing to give people second chances.
