Am i really a socialist?
I have been called a socialist , communist , liberal , and all kinds of other crap . I just want to finally once and for all , find out what to call myself . Heres what i believe and dont believe - I belive in universal health care - I like john McCains immigration plan - I think that gay people should get full rights - I believe jobs should stop being shipped overseas - I dont support hilary clinton - I do support every other democratic canidate - I am undecided about abortions right now - I think that the demcratic party itself is no different than the republican , they all are corupt - My favorte president is Jimmy Carter - My favorte book is Das Kapital by karl marx - I think that high schools are way too tough and need to get rid of most of these tests including the exit exam - My father is a member of the socialist party usa - And I think that if we ended the war , we would have more than enough money to pay for everything i have said so far as far as capitalism goes , im all for it , i just think that companies shouldnt be able to get power with money....

What separates the socialist from the liberal is the realization that the interests of the capitalists and the super-rich minority are diametrically opposite to those of the working class majority. This is most easily understood by the fact that the CEO and shareholders get richer and richer as the workers are paid... More

No, you sound like a hardcore Liberal. Socialist main ideal, is redistribution of wealth. IE people who have will give, and people who have no will receive.
