I'd like to break into the pharmaceutical sales industry, any pointers?
I'm a public relations and business development manager for a small firm our area. I really don't have any sales experience but I do have the "stepping stone" to those skills. I have wonder people skills as well. Any tips for an interview? or tips just to get an entry-level position?

This is all I can say.....Most companies require some sale exp and at least a bachelors. You should be able to check on line and view the requirements for each individual companies. Also they tend to hire people that are very out going and out spoken. Good luck!

Sales experience and ability to test well as the training is very difficult. There is alot of math involved. I have heard the training is as difficult as learning to be a stockbroker and the final tests are tough. If this is something you really want to do, then don't let anything stand in your way.
