(U.S. Navy) If i get a perfect score in boot camp do they start you off in a higher rank like e2 or something?

I knew of seamen that left bootcamp having made rank. (One guy was an E4 by the time he left) However, my hubby went in over 20 years ago. I don't know if that info is stale.

I was in the Navy and don't remember them keeping score. The only way to advance your rank is time in rate and testing

Yes, you immediately get promoted to Fleet Admiral with your own fleet of ships just joking, you want make a perfect score, everyone graduates with the E-2 paygrade except those that had previous service from Navy or other branches of the service. If you do not make E-2 then you did not graduate and will have to look... More

A million years ago, some branches offered a higher graduation rank for so many years of high school jrotc. Don't know if they still do. Call a recruiter.

each RDC has the authority to promote a certain number of people to the next higher paygrade, up to E3, but it isn't always the ones with the best scores..academic, physical, or military bearing.
