Anyone ever had a competency based interview?

I am going for a RBS call center interview soon and it is competency based (competency meaning to show your strengths and give examples/stories of when, how and what happened) I'm just wondering if anyone has had experience in this type of interview and can give me some tips on what to expect etc? Also, I know there isn't necessarily such a thing as an easy interview..but is it easier than most others?

One golden rule of this type of interview EVIDENCE you need all you can muster to underline your capability in specified skills. The trick is remembering it you know more about you than anyone and only you have the answers so think hard prepare well and good luck.
