Any recruitment consultants care to comment on a refusal to put my CV forward?

A recruitment consultant is responding to my CV saying - 'it doesn't match closely enough with the client requirements' - even though I specifically detailed/answered every item in the job description which fits EXACTLY the role & my experience.

I'm not a recruitment consultant but my guess is it was an easy way for them to tell you they chose someone else. But they should be honest and give you the real reason. I've seen this happen before to people who have gone for a jnew job in the company they work in.

Stuff the recruitment consultant. Try to locate the company that you wish to work for, and send them your C.V. directly. Recruitment agencies are parasites that feed off the (already poor) workers.
