I am looking for an exciting, rewarding job within the aviation industry but not as an airline pilot.?

Airline pilot with a wide ranging experience of the industry needs another challenge. Management skills in abundance and operational experience gained from a life long involvement with aircraft.

Look into Technical Services or Flight Dispatching. Tech Svcs you will be working directly with other pilots and maintenance crews to help troubleshoot the aircraft and issuing placcards. Flight Dispatch ..... well you must already know all this. Good luck.

Then you know the options, cargo or passenger. Operations or Marketing. I read Branson is about to open up a new airline in Russia, perhaps your experience could be useful there. Good luck!!

What about working in a training environment? A ground or sim instructor.

How odd. How very strange. With the skills and experience you list, it is surprising you don't have any contacts in the industry. I would go to the major airline web sites and check out the "careers" pages. Good luck.
