Is it against the law for a teen to work a job more than 4 hours a day?

My mom said that there is a law that a students in school can't work at a job for more than 4 hours! Is it true? Yes or no! I am homeschooled and geting very board I want to work more than 4 hours a day! I'm at work from 8 am-12 noon and want to work till 4 pm! I love my job and homeschooling doesn't start till 4 pm anyway! If it is against the law it's really dumb because I get A+ on every thing!

Enjoy your youth. Find a hobby you like now. Find a way to make a living at it. Your dedicated so it will be no problem. I dropped out at 16 yrs (GED) and went to work. Dumb move.
