Will a place of employment consider me any different if I have an online college degree?

Like less of a chance of getting the job and do people consider it "real" schooling if its online?

There is a lot of debate about this. It also depends on the school. A school that is known to be online, like University of Pheonix, will probably not get you very far. My credits from Excelsior college do not transfer everywhere... More

Absolutely NOT!!!!!!!!! In fact, you get more attention 1 on 1 online than you do if you were in the actual classroom itself and some online classes let you actually be in a virtual classroom!

That should not be a problem. In fact some schools are starting to require that students must take at least one class online before they graduate. This goes to show that that change will soon occur in the workplace.

As long as you recieve your degree from an accredited school, it would not be looked down upon. What the other person said about competeing with someone from harvard, you have no chance.... be realistic, 80+% of anyone in the world would have no realistic chance of competeing there, so what would online courses have... More
