What is the best engineering job overall??

I want a high paying engineering job, but i dont want one the is overbearingly difficult to learn and perform...out of electrical, petroleum, and chemical, which one is the best one in terms of being able to learn it and salary?? If you know of other engineering fields list them as well.

I would suggest that you want to learn engineering because it interests you and that your selected field is something that you will want to do for your life's work. Selecting a profession based on criteria such as salary or complexity will not make you happy in the long run... More

Most likely petroleum, as oil is running out, therefore higher price of oil, therefore higher salaries for those working in that industry.

Basicly, at least in the USA, salary by engineering field is directly related to the perceived difficulty of study and indirectly related to the average number of graduates.
