How much does a substitute teacher make in Tennessee (just a rough guess is fine)?

When I start working on my Bachelor's degree, I would like to work as a substitute teacher just to make a few dollars on the side. If you could give me an estimate for how much they make, that would be great. If you could, tell me how much they make in the Murfreesboro and/or Tullahoma areas. I love kids and I think that it would be a fun job for me. Thanks.

Just go to the school district's website in your area, click on "employment" and the substitute rate should be right there. It's around $100/day. A district I used to work for in Southern Calif only paid $85/day and now my district in Northern Cali pays $125/day.

At all three districts I've been apart of, subs get $100 a day. I've heard some of the large, affluent suburban districts offer $125 for fully certified teachers.

I've seen some substitute that make as little as $85 and as much as $145. Good luck!
