Is it nice to live in Chicago?

Specifically Arlington Heights, Glennview, Champagne, Northbrook, Naperville, and others in that area. Affordability? Education level? Our youngest son in ten and our daughter is 16. Safe? Plenty of Occupations available? And if you can recommend anyplace else to live in, please go ahead. My family is trying to move out of Ohio very soon, but I'm not sure where to go. I appreciate your help.

I have been to Chicago many times, and I loved it there. I recommend moving to Naperville because it is a nice area. It is affordable. It has very good education and I think that your children will fit in perfectly there. Yes there is plenty of occupations available. Hope this helps. Have fun moving =]

I have lived here for 31 years born and raised. You will love it in Chicago! Naperville is nice and has one of the best schools system in Illinois. I would also recommend: Downers Grove, Lombard, Glen Ellyn, Wheaton, Lisle, anywhere in Du Page County is best. Good Luck!
