Is it needed to write a cover letter for an entry level electrical engineering job ?

I am looking for an entry level electrical engineering job in Texas. I see a lot of openings , Should I just send out my resume to all of them or take my time out and send one a day ? I need some interviews really soon too since I wwill be moving to texas in a few weeks , and I need a job asap .

I am a hiring manager. I get ten or a hundred applications for every opening I have. I want to hire the "best" person that I can. If you think that your resume' alone does the best job of selling 'you', then send it. If you want to do some more convincing, add a cover letter. I'll warn you though, whatever you... More
