Shouldn't a manager job be posted to everyone to apply for?
My IT job is giving the least experienced people manager jobs, without posting it to all, is this legal? And no, the least experienced people do not have better college education.

Unless you suspect they are showing them favoritism based on race, sex, or religion, your employer can give anyone they want a promotion without regard to other employees.

There is no legal requirement for a company to post or even give jobs to competent people, odds are this will result in the company performing poorly but so long as the company does not bar anyone on the basis of race, religion or sex they are free to give jobs the the least qualified person they can find.

There is no law about job posting. That's entirely a company choice.
