What can you tell me about a title clerk position at a car dealership?

My wife works at the DMV she is growing extremly tired of the constant abuse she has to endure from a**hole customers. She has served title clerks at the counter and has had owners of dealerships say they need to hire somebody. The DMV being a state job has great benefits, but the B.S. makes it almost unbearable. What does a title clerk position pay and is it worth it to make the switch?

Call a dealer office manager and ask them about the job duties and pay...usually, you have to do more than one job so there's a lot of mental stress and deadlines there also but it depends on the dealer. Have your wife talk to someone in a dealer that does that...maybe go to lunch.
