How do you think global corporations operating without global government or global labor unions will affect..?
American workers in the long term? As things currently stand, global corporations have free run of the global economy. Nothing is stopping them from taking full advantage of Asian factory workers who make 25 cents per hour and selling their products wherever they can charge the most for them. Do you think it reasonable to expect that American workers will one day become competitive by working for 20 cents per hour, or will some sort of global government, labor union and labor laws become necessary?

I think a global union would have an affect and the international unions are working on that now. It appears to me that this trend will have a very negative affect on the U.S. work force. Companies, as long as they can hire workers, not have to obey safety regulations and ignore environmental issues will continue to... More
