We are thinking of moving to Belgium......?

This is still an idea we are thinking about - I would appreciate any links, other information that anyone can provide. I am a non EU citizen and my husband is french Thanks I am from South Africa and have been married for nearly 8 years - does anyone know what their immigration policy is like?

Their shouldn't be too much immigration problems. Your EU husband is allowed to work in Belgium and to live here and you are allowed to follow your husband. A work permit for yourself might be more difficult... More

Belgium is a great country. French, German and Dutch speaking areas, nice chocolates and waffles. Not sure what the King's name is though.

Think Dutch spoken with a French accent - Flemish. I've worked with Belgians, they're alright! A friend of mine is working there at the moment and he likes it.

As a French citizen your husband would have no legal problems whatsowever to work in Belgium. However however: two points (Point 1 may sound very racist to you but it is the realistic truth): 1.
