Do illegals work low end jobs or not?
I recently saw a post in which an illegal said he supports his family, takes no welfare and even donates to charity. I keep hearing that illegals only take low end,low paying jobs that "Americans wont do". I find this confusing so I must ask,how is it possible that a low paid individual can support a whole family and donate to churches and charities? Is it possible that these illegals are in fact working higher end jobs that Americans would most definitely want? Opinions?

Yes they work low end jobs, and pollute our country and don't contribute to society. We need to close our borders!

I saw a troll post earlier today where the person claimed to be illegal but had perfect English and access to a computer. It was obvious the poster was bogus. They take jobs such as meat packing, roofing, construction, lawn care, field work, fruit picking and similar. They impact citizens with a high school education... More

Here is the thing. You are taking a few anecdotes and trying to apply them to the majority situation, and it simply does not work. There are literally THOUSANDS of examples of i****************s who make a good living in America... and even they are a very, very small minority. Don't forget- we have 12 million i... More

Is the work that illegal aliens do "low end"? I guess that all depends on what your definition of "is" is.

Well, when Uncle Sam doesn't take 30% of your check for taxes of various names, you seem to have a bit more for spending. Illegals don't pay taxes, so they have a bit more than you and I do.

Well some do have low paying jobs and others have very good paying jobs. Ok look at it this way. They don't have a SS# so the one they are using will not let them file for a tax refund. So what they do is a family of 4 both mom and dad are claiming 6 or7 each on there taxes because they know they cant get any back... More

I dont think its so hard to believe that someone can support their family and donate while having a low end job. I believe poor people sometimes know how to manage their money better than those with money. You see people who come from less wealthy countries arent spoiled like us and blow their money on stupid... More

Well 41% of illegal aliens are on welfare and less than 2% are picking crops. Since this satatistic is from the FBI, I'm wondering why, if they know this, why aren't they deporting illegal aliens? Anyone know where the other 57% are?

Well the first thing to take into account is that it is possible that an illegal could lie. After all, if they're illegal they're obviously of a certain moral stature and frankly, a criminal. Heaven forbid a criminal wold tell the truth. Also, you say it was a post? Here on Y!A? Well I suppose we could rule out... More
