Would this job be good experience if I wanted to get into journalism?

The company is called Construction Journal. They "provide comprehensive, accurate and timely Information on Construction Projects from the early planning stages through the bidding process to the project award. Real-Time updates provide our subscribers with the most timely information available. Developers, Construction Managers, General Contractors, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers, Architects, Engineers and many other industry professionals use Construction Journal every day to identify projects to offer their goods or services. " I would have the position of Construction Reporter, contacting construction projects and getting the latest updates and information and posting it to our website.

This sounds like a great experience and you would give you the chance to learn how to do research, acquire information, and I'm guessing, do research through the Internet and through phone calls. I'd stick with the smaller guys if you want to do unfettered work.
