I'd say the Corporate Media's job as in relation to teens is to keep you buying magazines about celebrities and to get you to CONSUME PRODUCTS. I-Pods, cell Phones, Blu-Ray DVD players, clothes, beauty products...actual entertainment is secondary to the advertisements... More

people believe what they see on the news, its sad but true. the best thing is to watch news from several countries and decide what to believe, and even then you still dont get the whole truth.

I think pertaining to politics, the media has a huge influence on Americans. The media defines which issues turn into major scandals; newspapers dictate when a candidate has momentum; newspaper and television bias has the potential of reaching millions of people.
