Which part of San Diego has more jobs?

I love La Jolla, but are there more jobs in Downtown? Trying to decide which part to move that's closer to jobs? My husband is looking for restaurant or retail jobs, and I am looking for sales jobs and recruiter jobs. Have a baby so daycare is also a concern. Any advice is appreciated.

Either one would be a good choice. The area around La Jolla called The Golden Triangle(the area bounded by the 5,805,and 52 freeways) and Sorrento Valley have lots jobs. Tons of restaurants downtown. Have you looked out in Eastlake? The new Otay mall is a winner and lots of shops there.

Tony D is right , lots of new jobs in the eastlake area, but i would recomend asking this question again, give a little more detail on what type of neighborhoods you like, and what type of retail and restaurant experience he has.
