Computer problems after using System Recovery?

I used my system recovery earlier today, because my computer needed it. Now my computer is back to new, with no files or anything on it. I tried installing some of my games, but for all of them, they won't play. All the games that previously would play fine no longer start. One tell me its because of graphics, says i need DirectX (I have latest version) and an updated video driver... I have a working video card, that ran all these games, but I am wondering if there is something I need to download, some kind of files or drivers, that will enable my games to play. I am not very computer-smart, so please, if anyone can help, please tell me what i need to download, and where to get it from, and I would be super thankful! Please be detailed on how to download and save them and such, as I mentioned, I know only the basics of using a computer. Please and thank you! I already have a video card that can play all of these games, they all worked before i used system recovery. What i need to know is if theres some kind of file or anything I need to download to make it work that I no longer have after i used System Recovery to delete everything on my computer. The games all complain about 3D not working and wont start, but the graphics card i have now worked for them yesterday. It's got to be something i deleted. I remember having something about NVidia, but i have no idea what that is, is it important?

You don't want to invest in a Directx graphics adaptor that won't work on your system and you don't want to get taken to the cleaners in price either. Here's how to buy a Dual-Head... More
