Where is the best place to apply for a part time job for teens?

[Apparently it has something to do with the economy dwindling.] Anyways, just wondering where a teen like me can apply for a part time job and most likely get accepted. I have tried various retail stores and am getting so desperate as to apply at a fast food joint. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
