why would God.........?

If you prayed to God for him to make your life easier somehow. Has he done it for you? Most Christians think so, i would venture to guess. Why does he choose to heal your cold or get you a better job, but the child at Dana Farber suffers and dies from cancer or worse yet the child in Africa who dies from a mosquito bite. Why would a loving God be so selective when it comes to answering prayers? Does he love some more than others?

God supposedly loves us all. Which would beg the question why is he letting so many people suffer when they haven't even done anything wrong? Hm... If God was real, he'd be unimaginably cruel.

We live in a fallen world, God can answer prayers, but there is death in all over the world, I dont wanna say God's blessings are limited, but since we are fallen and God is not physically with us yet, He cant do all that He wants to do, since this world is under a curse (sin). Death has to come for everyone, one way... More

God may choose whatever means He wishes to bring His children home to Him. And also whenever He wishes. Why should Heaven be peopled with only old people?

God helps me but does not help Dana Farber because I have greater faith than Dana Farber. You can always tell who has the most faith by how well they are doing. People who get sick do not have enough faith, because God will heal them if they have faith. And people who are poor do not have enough faith because God will... More

We live in an imperfect world, even though in the beginning it was created perfectly. Other influences came into play. Sometimes the people who seem to suffer the most have no memory of the suffering, it's those of us who stand by and watch them who suffer the most. This life is temporal, eternity is forever.

Being a Christian gives us nothing special other than eternal life! We are subject to same illness suffering and pain as everyother human! Why some go through more others less we will have to wait, I think it teaches us how to love when we reach out to others w/o concern for our welfare is where Christ really reaches... More

Why would a loving God be so selective when it comes to answering prayers? Does he love some more than others? He is waiting for you to pray for them. Really, will you pray to HIM for them? or will you be selfish?
