i am buying these subs but what kind of amp do i need to power them?

i have two of these subs Alpine SWR-1022D 10" Type-R Series Subwoofer Dual 2-ohm voice coils Kevlar reinforced pulp cone rubber surround 50-500W RMS total power range 26Hz - 500Hz frequency response. I went to best buy to find the right ones adn then i bought them off line. now i need an amp. i talked to the people at best buy but i honestly dont think they know anything more about amp and sub combinations than i do so i am asking everyone on here what amp would be enough for these two subs. do i need a mono channel or multi? i dont know what that means only that they are the options that are given to me. what specifiacations should i be looking for and if you know of an amp that has those specs then whats the name of it?
