How to pick up my boyfriend from philippines to my home in america?

I'm an American Citizen and my boyfriend of 4 years is a Filipino Citizen. How can I bring him to America if i'm going back first? What papers or info do I need? We plan on getting married when he arrives.

He needs to apply for a visa at the American embassy. If you are engaged, he can apply for a fiance visa...if the visa is granted, this puts hm on the path to immigrate. You cannot do this for him, he must apply for himself. It is a length and complicated process.

i think you have to apply for a fiance visa just to get him.. of course you have to go back to the Phils. and marry him cuz you need a marriage contract to apply for a fiance visa... consult your lawyer or at the consulate office...

Give me his present coordinates and I shall tell my crew at the Enterprise to beam him up to the ship, wrap him up with a ribbon, and then beam him down to you. Just kidding. Contact Michael Garfunkel, Immigration Lawyer.
