What's a better place to live for a 22-year old, SF or DC? I'm talking 4-6 months.?

I've lived in Michigan my whole life, and have comparable job offers in both cities. I would be working July 1 - December 1. Please give things to do in either city that are absolutely worth being able to experience. I'm healthy, active, and will have a reasonable amount of spending money.

for SF aside from all the other things people have posted, that is the best time of year weather wise for the City by the Bay. September/October is the warmest time of year with least amount of fog. still some baseball to be had in both SF and Oakland. It is my favorite time of year in the bay area. I am partial to... More

While the cost of living is high in both Cities, it is considerably higher in San Fransisco than DC. However, DC has slowly turned into a worse city with a higher crime rate.
