Would you accept a job where you have to spend half your lunch break covering reception?
I'm currently working temporary and am looking for various office junior positions. I've been offered one where I have to, amoung other things, spend half an hour of my lunch break working on reception. Would i be being mugged off if I accepted this offer? Or is it just a case of grinning and bearing it till I get my foot in the door? opinions?

I would only take it if I was really excited about the primary job and could move out of the reception thing fast (I would get this commitment in advance)

It's a bit cheeky really, if you are manning reception then you are working, not on a break. Personally I wouldn't take that job as it sounds like they don't have a great deal of respect for their workers so do you really want a foot in that door anyway?
