Managers & Job Interviewing: How much importance do you place on appearance when considering a job applicant?

Other than attire and being well kempt.....does one's physical fitness factor into this equation? Would it behoove me to finally shed the twenty lbs. I've needed to lose to look great? Or do you even notice or care if the person is twenty or thirty lbs. overweight? david s - I knew someone was going to come back and say that, but it really doesn't address my question.

During a n interview, weight is usally not a factor unless it is to the point where the person can not breathe or manuever. Then we examine the medical record closely to make sure the person is able to perform the job.
