well you either need to have a college degree to be an officer when you first get in or you can go in as enlisted and when you get enough college credits you can go to officer candidate school and if you pass that you will get your butterbar and you might get your own platoon.. either way you dont command anything it... All you need are A-levels or equivalent to be considered. You will then need to pass an interview to be accepted to Sandhurst. Good luck to you.
