How do you find employers willing to pay you to move closer to their company to employ you?

I have 2 skilled trades, carpentry and metal fabrication, want to move to an area where jobs are more abundant.

I agree with the other answer, in most cases you need to apply and be ready to relocate yourself. But it also doesn't hurt to look for specific jobs that do offer relocation, or help with it. If you really are skilled, and have a lot to offer, they may be willing to negotiate. You'd have to be highly marketable, and... More

You have to have a good recommendation and a company with enough resources that helps those good people move to the area. You can also look for friends that live in that area that are willing to give you some place to stay until you can get your own place.
