How dumb does Obama think rural people are?
For example, if you were to put the intelligence of rural americans on a bell curve where would Obama put rural people? is it like: 1. Liberal intellectuals 2. City-dwellers with techno jobs. 3. A monkey 4. A rat in a maze 5. A spoon 6. Rural Americans. I think this is how obama sees it. He really looks down on rural Americans. I'm a democrat and I literally love my rural American brothers and sisters. I think they live in small towns for reasons of their own and when they come to the city I roll out the welcome wagon for them because they're great and gracious people. I think they love God because that's how they feel about God, not because God is some crutch that makes them feel better about not being smart enough to get a good-paying job. Obama doesn't get it. He doesn't care about the people. He just wants to be president. Clinton wants to be president too but she loves the people. She has always loved the people.

"I think this is how obama sees it. He really looks down on rural Americans." ----I'd be willing to bet that they ALL do (or at least MOST of them). Politicians are "deputies" of the corporations (who are actually the ones who run this country). The two-party system is total BS. It's only purpose is to divide us... More

Clinton loves the rural community. I think not. She just took advantage of an opportunity. If she wins out I'm going with McCain!

Being a liberal intellectual (news people do fall in that category) who grew up in a rural setting, I don't think he understands exactly what people in poorer areas really go through... More

i like obama but he is not going to be able bring the people of this country together. don't get me wrong the other people wanting to be president won't either but he is too out of touch with too many people.

Oh please - his words were totally taken out of context. He was noting that in places that are statistically economically downtrodden (which are, often times, rural towns because all of the jobs have moved to the city and/or out of country), people don't have the economic security they used to have, so they cling on... Obama did NOT say rural people were "dumb." Get it right. He is speaking of a segment of rural people who are indeed very bitter. He spoke the truth. So quit electioneering for Clinton. She's no angel. She only cares about being elected, too.

This is how elitists see all Americans who make less than 1 million a year. McCain, Hillary, and Obama are all elitists. Don't think that it is just Obama. (And Obama supporters - Obama is nothing special! He is just another elitist politician vying for the job of a puppet).
