Can you get a job that involves serving alcohol if you're not old enough to drink it?

For example, like a bartender or a waiter/waitress; would you need to be 21 (or whatever the age requirement in that jurisdiction) in order to perform those job responsibilities?

In California, the law against an underage person selling or possessing alcohol is so strict that a grocery store clerk has to call a manager to finish the transaction if an adult customer tries to pay for alcohol. The underage person cannot even waive a sealed bottle over the bar code scanner, much less pour alcohol... More

No you can not, here in Australia even if you are adult you cant work in such job until you do a short course to obtain RSA "responsible service of alcohol".

As far as I know everywhere in the US you have to be atleast 18, some places 21 to serve alcohol.
